All of our home insurance policies include replacement cost coverage and personal liability coverage.

Policy discounts

You may be eligible for a premium discount if:

• You haven’t had a claim for 3 years or more.
• Your age and number of years continuously insured with SGI CANADA may qualify you.
• You have an approved security system.
• You live in a home built in the last 15 years (available for home and seasonal home insurance policies only).
• You have an electronic water shut-off system.
• You hoose a higher deductible.
• You live in an apartment or condo above the 3rd floor (available for tenant and condo insurance policies only).
• You live in a fire-resistant structure (applies to tenant and condo insurance policies only).
