Our Trades Pak provides automatic and broad protection for your contents including stock, equipment and tenant improvements.

Protection against loss of income

Our Trades Pak provides coverage for the actual loss sustained to your business.

• 100% of your financial loss up to a maximum of 12 months.
• Coverage for your premises and at your jobsite.

Protection for your tools

With our Trades Pak, we provide automatic coverage for your tools at your premises, in your locked vehicle and at the jobsite.

• $5,000* miscellaneous tools.
• Replacement cost on items up to five years old.

Protection for your equipment

Our Trades Pak provides automatic coverage for unlicensed mobile equipment, whether it is owned, loaned or rented.

• $25,000 limit – owned.
• $25,000 limit – loaned or rented.
• Newly acquired property – $250,000 up to 60 days (before you are required to advise your insurer).
• Rental reimbursement – $20,000 any policy year with a 24-hour waiting period.
• Replacement cost on items up to five years old.

Additional items can be scheduled.

Protection against liability

Our Trades Pak provides a basic limit of $1 million for liability coverage in the event you are found legally responsible for property damage or injuries suffered by another party (limits can be increased).

• Products – completed operations.
• Labour and expense coverage – $10,000.
• Independent contractors.
• Blanket contractual.
• Broad form completed operations.
• Business medical payments (up to $10,000 per person).
• Tenants’ legal liability.
• Non-owned automobile liability.
• Plus legal liability for damage to hired automobiles – $100,000.

Protection against crime

Our Trades Pak provides comprehensive crime coverage for money and securities. You’re also covered for employee dishonesty.

• $25,000 employee dishonesty.
• $2,500 limit** for loss inside premises, loss outside premises, money order and counterfeit paper currency coverage and depositors’ forgery.

**Limits can be increased to either $5,000 or $10,000

Protection against equipment breakdown

Our Trades Pak provides automatic coverage for pressure vessels, as well as mechanical, air conditioning, electrical and electronic equipment at your premises.
