Residential and farm insurance policy discounts
You may qualify for a premium discount on the policy for your house, condominium, mobile home, rental unit or farm property if:
- You haven’t had a claim for 3 years or more.
- You are age 40 or older and/or have been insured with SGI CANADA for more than 1 year.
- You have an approved monitored security system in your residence or farm buildings.
- Your home was built in the last 15 years.
- You have an electronic water shut-off system in your home.
- You live within a fire resistive building structure.
- You live above the 3rd floor.

5% multi-vehicle discount
SGI CANADA offers a multi-vehicle discount of 5% off your total premium if you insure more than 1 vehicle on the same Auto Pak policy.
