With our dedication to crime prevention and special event initiatives, we are proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Regina Bowl for Kids Sake event.
The event raises much-needed funds for Big Brothers to deliver programs and services to youth waiting for a big brother match and those that have a big brother.
Big Brothers was first started in 1971 when a group of individuals saw the need for father-absent boys to have positive male role models in their lives. Mature stable volunteers are matched with boys aged 6 to 16 to guide them through life's rough spots and rites of passage that come along the way. The boys may come from father-absent homes and in many cases the biological father is virtually out of their lives.
Volunteers commit to seeing there “Little” for between 2 to 5 hours per week for one year. After the year, hopefully everyone will want to keep on going.
